OH GOD! I love it so much! Seriously you make use of the web-comic space better than just about anyone I've seen. It's not just a digital comic book page- you use space for timing and effect. I get chills every time.(PS Yay LJ Feed working!)
This is gorgeous. I can't wait to see more.
this is really exciting! I'm dying to find out what's next!
I love how wistful your writing is
This is so chilling, I can't wait for more.
this is amazing. thank you for sharing.
Agh, I know I'm probably just being stupid about something obvious, but all three comic segments open as the first one for me. What am I doing wrong?
@ The Moth-King: You're not being stupid! It's a little bit of a puzzle -- you've got to click on objects in the room according to the lines of the poem above the main image. The first refers to flowers, the second to a doll, etc. etc. The main "Margot's Room" image is an image map with various hot spots being added each update. :)
Yes, but I don't seem to get it either - when I open the second and third parts of Margot's room, the only three things I can click on, are the flowers, doll and window. And they open the same segments as in the first part of the comic. What am I doing wrong?
Also, the poetry lines remain the same in the main image of all the three parts of the story, when I open them. Maybe that's the problem?
@ Noora: Hmmm, I'm going to look into this... they're working okay on my end, but maybe it's something going wonky in the image map. It's weird that the poetry lines are the same but the links update. Sorry I can't be of more help! I'll try to sort it out.For the time being, the direct links to the other two parts are here:PART 2: http://www.emcarroll.com/comics/margot/doll.htmlPART 3: http://www.emcarroll.com/comics/margot/gone.html
