Margot's Room

"Margot's Room" will be a 5-part story that will update every Friday until the end of October. Each week a new line of poetry will be revealed, providing a clue as to where to find the next comic (hint: it will correspond to something in Margot's room). Just a heads up: it does contain horror elements, some sad stuff, and There Will Be (more) Blood.

Small update:

ABOVE: some ladies, & BELOW: A few silly things and bits of fan art I've drawn over the past month. Uncharted, Enslaved, Prince of Persia ('08), my lone bit of ASOAIF fan art in Daenerys, and a picture I did for a friend (of her as Batgirl).

Summer's been pretty busy in a pretty great way, but unfortunately it means I haven't had a whole ton of time to devote to webcomics and general art posting (or even video games really -- what is going on). I've been up to a bunch of comics related stuff, but it's all for print right now -- including a short story I worked on with Brian Wood, due out in October (which I'm all kinds of excited about), as well as twenty pages in the upcoming Spera, Vol 1. If all goes according to (admittedly tentative) plan, I'll actually be in New York for NYCC too, promoting Spera at the Archaia booth (with the appallingly talented Kyla Vanderklugt, no less!). Stop by and say hello if you're so inclined! Haha, I'll be trying to do my damndest not to look overwhelmed by the whole thing.

Though speaking of webcomics, (after you acquaint yourselves with Steve Wolfhard's new teen sensation Turtie), you should check out the creepy story above by the super great Kate Craig. It's been her first foray into comics, and I've been hassling her to do some more because egads.

More stuff soon, I swear! And I hope all's well with folks. Thanks too for all the feedback on my last story -- I know I'm terrible with comments here, but I really appreciate all the kind words!
